Next Phase of Sitework Advances Redevelopment of Former Mall Site

Chesterfield, MO — November 14, 2025 — The Staenberg Group (TSG) announced today that utility work and site grading are now underway at Downtown Chesterfield, marking the next phase of progress in transforming the former Chesterfield Mall site into a vibrant, mixed-use destination.

This phase of work includes:

1. Utility installation and relocation needed to support future development

2. Site grading focused on the new road network and the 3.31-acre park that will serve as the centerpiece of Downtown Chesterfield

These early infrastructure improvements lay the foundation for the next stages of construction and help transition the site from demolition to active development.  “This is a meaningful milestone for the project,” said Michael Staenberg, Founder of The Staenberg Group. “Beginning utility work and grading gets us one step closer to creating a vibrant new destination for Chesterfield.”
